Kidnapped Blindwolf and tortured him to spending a day at the zoo with me and Benjamin :) of course to Benjamin the zoo was just a zoo but the train - now that is what gets his jollies on.

It was neat to see the new wolf cubs - they had a large litter... but still seeing those poor animals stuck in those small confines - made my skin creep pretty badly. that is something i can not tolerate - being down and not being able to go do something - if i was an animal i would be visiting all the other animals at nite when the zookeepers were not around. cant keep a good woman down right?

One funny thing i DO recall is Blindwolf, Benjamin and I are peering up at the Red Panda when out of the corner of my eye i see this little hand dart out of the stroller and in slow motion i see the Motts Apple Juice Box launch itself slowly thru the air to land in the stream running thru the Red Pandas exhibit. Well shit - ya know? what do you do - of course i reprimand my son with a stern visage but i could not help but think - did someone see that? are the zoo police labeling my son as a "possible threat" to the very fragile eco-system they have created for this panda who really is not a panda? gah - kids do the darndest things.

after the zoo blindwolf benjamin and i headed to clifton to eat at the thai cafe with my husband - a place we used to frequent in the early stages of our relationship - I LOVE the chicken thai spicy! then we stopped off at the potluck potluck which i left early due to having a toddler but enjoyed the fact that Kirk my husband got to stay and enjoy the sat. morning fare. only bad thing is i had my whole nite planned on some graphic design i wanted to do but fell alseep right after benjamin went down and thus my nite was spent in bed :(
